James Cup Jamboree
The James Cup is a hockey tournament held annually to honor the life of James Stover. Sadly, in 2003 James – a promising 7-year-old hockey player from Simsbury – passed away in a tragic accident. The Simsbury Youth Hockey Association holds the James Cup each year to honor James’s memory by raising funds to allow all interested players to participate in our program, regardless of financial ability.
This year’s James Cup will take place on Sunday, February 18th at the Simsbury Farms Rink, taking place from 8am-12pm. We will have a food truck present as well as other activities to support this terrific cause.
